Human foot washes up on beach near Vancouver for 11th time in four years

For the eleventh time in four years, a human foot washed ashore near Vancouver - baffling investigators who are at a loss to explain the grisly trend.

The foot, which was inside a running shoe, turned up along the British Columbia coast late Tuesday, according to police.

The body part, which was still attached to the lower part of the leg, was spotted by a passerby near the Vancouver's False Creek.

Police have no theories as to how the foot ended up in the water - but have not suggested that foul play is suspected.

Since 2007, nearly a dozen feet encased in shoes have appeared on beaches in the area, including a few over the border in Washington state.

The bizarre discovers have attracted international attention - and spawned fears of a serial killer.

But cops have steadfastly denied that anything sinister is behind the gruesome discovers, suggesting that the deaths were drownings or suicides and that the decaying feet separated from corpses naturally in the water.

Most of the remains are still unidentified, though police said at least three of the feet have been matched with British Columbia men who were reported missing. - nydailynews

NOTE: Irene and I remote viewed this case when the last severed foot washed ashore. Our findings are posted on Astral Perceptions. The police are wrong in assuming these are suicide and/or drowning victims according to our findings. I made it a point to notify all the jurisdictions (US and Canada) involved in these cases but, to no surprise, none wanted any advice or help...Lon

Reports of flying humanoids over South Texas

Ken Gerhard posted in the San Antonio Current: Recently, I received an unusual report from colleagues who belong to a leading UFO organization. My associates had been contacted by a San Antonio family who claimed to have had a remarkable sighting near their home in the area around a local airport.

According to their account, it was during April of 2009 when the incident occurred. At the time, the lady of the household was standing in her driveway having a conversation on her cell phone, when she happened to glance up and spotted what appeared to be a huge, dark winged man gliding through the air! Startled and amazed, the woman ran into her house and yelled at her husband and son to come and take a look. All of them were in full agreement that they were in fact watching what appeared to be the form of a man-bat flying by. The strange figure eventually disappeared out of sight. Regrettably, to date the family in question has been hesitant to conduct a personal follow-up interview with me or any other investigators. Perhaps they merely imagined the whole thing, or made it up … or maybe they have come to realize that some subjects are better left alone.

As incredible as it sounds, there have been other documented reports of similar winged humanoids throughout South Texas. According to a newspaper article that appeared in the Houston Chronicle on June 19, 1953, three residents of that city observed a manlike figure perched on the branch of a pecan tree. The Houston Batman as he became known, was apparently adorned in a black paratrooper costume, complete with attached wings and knee length boots. But the strangest attribute, according to the eyewitnesses, was the fact that the batman emitted a dull, gray glow that faded out right about the time he vanished from their sight.

Stories about winged humanoid creatures can be found throughout Texas and Mexico.

In Rio Grande City, there were rumors of a man-bird that haunted the roof of a local tavern during the 1970s, and Robstown near Corpus Christi has a local legend about the pájaro hombre.

In November of 2007, a San Antonio man named Frank Ramirez appeared on a local news broadcast and stated that he had encountered an enormous, winged humanoid on the city’s Southside one evening.

Those who study such phenomena have suggested these may be inter-dimensional time travelers or the like. What do you believe? Are these merely tall tales, or is something taking place that is beyond our comprehension? - sacurrent

NOTE: we really need to get Ken Gerhard back as a guest on 'Beyond the Edge' Radio. Our interview with Ken and Nick Redfern last year was fantastic...Lon

Woman forced to flee home after claiming she was raped by aliens

(NOTE: I posted videos of this case previously...she has since been forced to leave her home - Videos (Italian): The Autopsy of an Alien Fetus - Graphic!) - A 40-year-old woman who claims she was raped by aliens has told how she has been forced to flee her home and her job after neighbours branded her a liar.

Giovanna Podda from Gennargentu, Sardinia, Italy, is in hiding after she told a TV programme that she had been abducted and abused by aliens who left phosphor burns and marks on her body.

Podda said: "I informed the police but they laughed at me. Nobody believes me but I believe many women have been raped by aliens and they are too scared to come forward and confess."

She added: "I want to be a spokeswoman for other victims and to urge them to come forward." - austriantimes

Rare sight as dog spotted on mountain top

Four tourists on a mission to scale Tanzania's Mount Kilimanjaro were treated to a rare sight on Tuesday as they reached the peak of Africa's highest mountain: a dog. The sighting has puzzled animal scientists and locals alike with questions raised on how it has managed to survive freezing temperatures.

The dog was spotted at Uhuru peak within an area situated between 5,730 and 5,895 metres above sea level and temperatures of between minus 4 and 15 degrees centigrade. One of the tourists, Antoine le Galloudec, who was accompanied by his three colleagues Kristina Meese, Irina Manoliv and Monique Indino, took a picture of the dog using his cell phone. Galloudec said he spotted the dog as he was relieving himself.

“As I was relieving myself I saw the dog lying some one metre away from where I stood on a rock,” he said. He added that he was puzzled and later took his phone and photographed the animal. “When the tourists showed us the picture of the dog we could not believe. How did it survive in such freezing cold and what was it eating,” said Mr Edward.

A specialist veterinarian Dr Wilfred Marealle said it was common for a dog to live in cold weather but it was unusual for the animal to climb to the top of such mountain. "A dog climbing to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro is not something common. The dog might be a rabid dog,” said Dr Marealle and cautioned people to stay away from it. - nation
