The Sleeping Prophet

Edgar Cayce has been called the "sleeping prophet," the "father of holistic medicine," and the most documented psychic of the 20th century. For more than 40 years of his adult life, Cayce gave psychic "readings" to thousands of seekers while in an unconscious state, diagnosing illnesses and revealing lives lived in the past and prophecies yet to come.

Cayce was born on a farm in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, in 1877, and his psychic abilities began to appear as early as his childhood. He was able to see and talk to his late grandfather's spirit, and often played with "imaginary friends" whom he said were spirits on the other side.

Through the years, Cayce would find that he had the ability to put himself into a sleep-like state by lying down on a couch, closing his eyes, and folding his hands over his stomach. In this state of relaxation and meditation, he was able to place his mind in contact with all time and space...the universal consciousness, also known as the super-conscious mind.

In 1910, the New York Times carried two pages of headlines and pictures in which he was declared the "World's Most Mysterious Man" A national magazine ran an article titled, "Miracle Man of Virginia Beach", and Cayce was swamped with an avalanche of 25,000 requests for medical help. President Woodrow Wilson sought the services of Edgar Cayce for healing and guidance while he was President and conceiving the idea of the League of Nations.

The Outbounder, Healer and Prophet

At the age of twenty-one, Cayce contracted a throat problem which developed into aphonia...a total loss of voice. Doctors were unable to help him, and Cayce began to regard his problem as incurable. He resorted to hypnosis, but this too had no useful effect until it occurred to Cayce to attempt re-entering the kind of hypnotic sleep which had enabled him to learn his schoolbooks when he was a boy. A hypnotist was found who was willing to give Cayce the necessary suggestion. Once in a trance, Cayce reportedly spoke in a clear voice, spelling out precisely what his symptoms were, and what should be done to cure them. Cayce had succeeded in curing himself and, in doing so, had launched himself on a lifelong career as a psychic diagnostician and healer.

It made no difference to Cayce whether his patient was sitting next to him in the same room or a total stranger living hundreds of miles away. His preparations for the health reading were always the same. As he himself described it, he would first loosen his clothing in order to have a perfectly freeflowing circulation. He would then lie on the couch in his office, with his head to the south, and his feet to the north. Placing his hands on his forehead between his eyes, he would wait a few moments until he received what he would call the go signal, a flash of brilliant white light. Cayce would then move his hands to his solar plexus, and fall into a trance. His wife would tell him the name and location of the patient, leaving out any mention of age, sex or physical problem. Cayce might pause a while before repeating the name and address until he had succeeded in 'locating' the patient and describing his or her condition. He would then prescribe medication and any other corrective measures, always ending his reading with the words: "We are through."

In 1933, he explained that he still understood very little about what he was doing. "Apparently," he said, "I am one of the few who can lay aside their own personalities sufficiently to allow their souls to make this attunement to a universal source of knowledge...but I say this without any desire to brag about it. In fact I do not claim to possess anything that other individuals do not inherently possess. Really and truly, I do not believe there is a single individual that does not possess this same ability I have. I am certain that all human beings have much greater powers than they are ever conscious of...if they would only be willing to pay the price of detachment from self-interest that it takes to develop those abilities."

Cayce took a holistic approach to health. He believed that a man was composed of body, mind and spirit, and that all three are one. He talked about consciousness in the cells of the body, each contributing to the total consciousness of the individual. Health, he indicated, would flow from a perfect harmony of body and mind. In accordance with the concept that we are what we eat, think and believe, Cayce would often urge his patients to improve their mental and spiritual outlook in order to regain their health.

Cayce's prophetic powers often emerged during readings. Cayce gave advice to businessmen who were worried about the location of their holdings or the stability of their stocks and bonds. Six months before the 1929 stock market crash he warned people to sell everything they owned. He predicted the beginning and end of both the First and Second World Wars. In October 1935, Cayce spoke of the coming holocaust in Europe. The Austrians and Germans, he said, and later the Japanese, would take sides. "Thus an unseen force, gradually growing, must result in an almost direct opposition to the Nazi, or Aryan theme. This will gradually produce a growth of animosities. And unless there is interference by what many call supernatural forces and influences,which are active in the affairs of nations and peoples, the whole world as it were...will be set on fire by militaristic groups and people who are for power expansion."

In 1939 he predicted the deaths of two presidents in office; "Ye are to have turmoils...ye are to have strife between capital and labor. Ye are to have a division in thy own land, before ye have the second of the Presidents that next will not live through his office...a mob rule!" President Franklin D. Roosevelt died in office in April 1945. In November 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas.

In 1944, he prophesied that China would one day be "the cradle of Christianity as applied in the lives of men." Through Russia, he said "comes the hope of the world. Not in respect to what is sometimes termed Communism or Bolshevism...no! But freedom...freedom! That each man will live for his fellow man. The principle has been born there. It will take years for it to be crystallized; yet out of Russia comes again the hope of the world." Russia, he said, would be guided by friendship with the United States. It's attempt to rule "not only the economic, but the mental and spiritual life" of its people was doomed to failure.

The possibility of a third world war was also predicted. He spoke of strife arising "near the Davis Straits," and "in Libya, and in Egypt, in Ankara, and in Syria; through the straits around those areas above Australia, in the Indian Ocean and the Persian Gulf." When asked in June 1943 whether it would be feasible to work towards an international currency or a stabilization of international exchange levels when the war had ended, Cayce replied that it would be a long, long time before this would happen. Indeed, he said, "there may be another war over just such conditions."

One of Cayce's most striking predictions, particularly in view of many other prophecies relating to the approaching end of the millennium, concern dramatic changes in the Earth's surface in the period of 1958 to 1998. The cause of these he put down to a tilting in the Earth's rotational axis which he said would begin in 1936. He prophesied that the Earth's axis would be shifted by the year 2001, bringing on reversals in climate, "so that where there has been a frigid or semi-tropical climate, there will be a more tropical one, and moss and fern will grow." By this time, he indicated, a new cycle would begin.

Future Calamity

Cayce's most calamitous prediction came not long before he decided to start scaling back his session workload. He stated...."watch New York, Connecticut and the like. Many portions of the east coast will be disturbed, as well as many portions of the west coast, as well as the central portion of the United States. Los Angeles, San Francisco, most of all these will be among those that will be destroyed before New York, or New York City itself, will in the main disappear. This will be another generation though, here; while the southern portions of Carolina, Georgia, these will disappear. This will be much sooner. The waters of the Great Lakes will empty into the Gulf of Mexico." None of his predictions ever pinpointed the year 2012.

His lifelong secretary, Gladys Davis, took down virtually all his readings, and they are recorded and indexed in the Association for Enlightenment and Research, established in Virginia in 1932 to study Cayce's work. In all, he gave 14,879 readings, well over half of them for people concerned about their health. Over a period of forty-three years, he read for more than six thousand people.

In the spring of 1944, he became ill and began to grow weak. His own readings advised him to rest, but he felt a tremendous obligation to those who were asking for his help. Finally, he collapsed from sheer exhaustion; he gave his last reading for himself in September of 1944. The reading told him he had to rest. When his wife asked "How long?" the response was "until he is well or dead." Shortly afterwards, he had a stroke and became partially paralyzed. Although Edgar told them he would be healed after the first of the year, they understood what he meant and he died on January 3, 1945. He predicted the date of his burial, January 5, 1945...again, he was correct.

The following is a list of Cayce's most important and interesting known prophecies:

* "There will be upheavals in the Artic and Antarctic that will cause the eruption of volcanoes in the torrid areas, and pole shift."
* The greater portion of Europe will be changed in the twinkling of an eye.
* Southeast Canada will be safe from earth changes.
* Mt. Etna and nearby Vesuvius, and Mt Pelee signal the major changes.
* As to the changes physical again: The earth will be broken up in the western portion of America. The greater portion of Japan must go into the sea.
* The upper portion of Europe will be changed as in the twinkling of an eye. Land will appear off the east coast of America.
* There will be the upheavals in the Arctic and in the Antarctic that will make for the eruption of volcanoes in the Torrid areas, and there will be shifting then of the poles so that where there has been those of a frigid or the semitropical will become the more tropical, and moss and fern will grow. And these will begin in those periods in '58 to '98, when these will be proclaimed as the periods when His light will be seen again in the clouds. As to times, as to seasons, as to places, ALONE is it given to those who have named the name and who bear the mark of those of His calling and His election in their bodies. To them it shall be given.
* As to those things that deal with the mantle of the earth, these shall call upon the mountains to cover many. As ye have seen those in lowly places raised to those of power in the political, in the machinery of nations' activities, so shall ye see those in high places reduced and calling on the waters of darkness to cover them. And those that in the inmost recesses of theirselves awaken to the spiritual truths that are to be given, and those places that have acted in the capacity of teachers among men, the rottenness of those that have ministered in places will be brought to light, and turmoils and strifes shall enter. And, as there is the wavering of those that would enter as emissaries, as teachers, from the throne of life, the throne of light, the throne of immortality, and wage war in the air with those of darkness, then know ye the Armageddon is at hand.
* "And those that seek in the latter portion of the year of our Lord as ye have counted in and among men 1936, He will appear!" [Corrected to 1998]
* The sun will be darkened and there shall be proclaimed through the spiritual interception in the hearts and minds and souls that his star has appeared and will point the way for those who enter into the Holy of Holies in themselves. He will appear!" [Corrected to 1998]
* The regenerated shall come and declare that John Peniel is giving to the world the new order of things.
* [Cayce gave October 31 as the anniversary of Noah's Flood, or poleshift.
* "That same name as to which the priest was banished the constellation of Libra, or to Libya were these people sent.
* Is it not fitting, then, that these must return? as this priest may develop himself to be in that position, to be in the capacity of a LIBERATOR of the world in its relationships to individuals in those periods to come; for he must enter again at that period, or in 1998."
* There will be the breaking of agreements
* The earth changes are affected by sunspot cycle, they will be at max!
* The hottest weather occurs during the greatest sunspot activity.
* In 2100 AD water covered part of Alabama, and New York was gone. Most of the houses were of glass.
* Jupiter and Uranus influences in the affairs of the world appear the strongest on or about October 15 to the 20th destructive conditions

* "The geographical changes, as we find, will not be of any appreciable change in the affairs of men, save as induced by those activities of men respecting their application of those laws pertaining to same, in this Particular generation."

* When the lines about the earth are considered from the mathematical precisions, it will be found that the center is nigh unto the Great Pyramid. This is a gradual, not a cataclysmic activity in the experience of the earth in this period. 16023"

The Akashic Records and Edgar Cayce

The Akashic Records or "The Book of Life" can be equated to the universe's super computer system. It is this system that acts as the central storehouse of all information for every individual who has ever lived upon the earth. More than just a reservoir of events, the Akashic Records contain every deed, word, feeling, thought, and intent that has ever occurred at any time in the history of the world. Much more than simply a memory storehouse, however, these Akashic Records are interactive in that they have a tremendous influence upon our everyday lives, our relationships, our feelings and belief systems, and the potential realities we draw toward us.

The Akashic Records contain the entire history of every soul since the dawn of Creation. These records connect each one of us to one another. They contain the stimulus for every archetypal symbol or mythic story which has ever deeply touched patterns of human behavior and experience. They have been the inspiration for dreams and invention. They draw us toward or repel us from one another. They mold and shape levels of human consciousness. They are a portion of Divine Mind. They are the unbiased judge and jury that attempt to guide, educate, and transform every individual to become the very best that she or he can be. They embody an ever-changing fluid array of possible futures that are called into potential as we humans interact and learn from the data that has already been accumulated.

In terms of contemporary insights, perhaps the most extensive source of information regarding the Akashic Records comes from the clairvoyant work of Edgar Cayce (1877-1945), Christian mystic and founder of A.R.E. For forty-three years of his adult life, Edgar Cayce possessed the uncanny ability to lie down on a couch, close his eyes, fold his hands over his stomach, and put himself into some kind of an altered state in which virtually any type of information was available. The accuracy of Cayce's psychic work is evidenced by approximately one dozen biographies and literally hundreds of titles which explore various aspects of his information and the thousands of topics he discussed.

When asked about the source of his information, Cayce replied that there were essentially two. The first was the subconscious mind of the individual for whom he was giving the reading and the second was the Akashic Records. Cayce described his experience as follows:

"I see myself as a tiny dot out of my physical body, which lies inert before me. I find myself oppressed by darkness and there is a feeling of terrific loneliness. Suddenly, I am conscious of a white beam of light. As this tiny dot, I move upward following the light, knowing that I must follow it or be lost.

As I move along this path of light I gradually become conscious of various levels upon which there is movement. Upon the first levels there are vague, horrible shapes, grotesque forms such as one sees in nightmares. Passing on, there begin to appear on either side misshapen forms of human beings with some part of the body magnified. Again there is change and I become conscious of gray-hooded forms moving downward. Gradually, these become lighter in color. Then the direction changes and these forms move upward and the color of the robes grows rapidly lighter. Next, there begin to appear on either side vague outlines of houses, walls, trees, etc., but everything is motionless. As I pass on, there is more light and movement in what appear to be normal cities and towns. With the growth of movement I become conscious of sounds, at first indistinct rumblings, then music, laughter, and singing of birds. There is more and more light, the colors become very beautiful, and there is the sound of wonderful music. The houses are left behind, ahead there is only a blending of sound and color. Quite suddenly I come upon a hall of records. It is a hall without walls, without ceiling, but I am conscious of seeing an old man who hands me a large book, a record of the individual for whom I seek information."

NOTE: I find much of Cayce's work fascinating but hardly the work of a prophet...at least not someone under the direct instruction of a Supreme Being. Let's say for argument's sake that Edgar Cayce's incredible predictions all came true. Even under that scenario, it would still be an unexplained phenomenon...not proof that a Deity exists. The Actuality of Invisible Alien Beings

I started to examine the invisible extraterrestrial hypothesis after a friend and colleague experienced two very strange and similar events. Over the years I have read a few witness statements of similar sightings though I mostly discounted the reports. Now, I have anecdotal evidence from a very reliable witness that there is an actual phenomenon that may be associated with non-terrestrial beings including the possible use of a time portal or multidimensional travel.

Many of you have seen the 'Predator' series films and are familiar with the cloak technology used by the extraterrestrial in the film. Basically, the alien being is hidden or invisible even though a matrix outline of the alien being can still be detected. The description in the following account is akin to the fictional entity in the films.

Several months ago, Irene Block described an incident she experienced in her backyard the evening before. She had let her dogs out and was standing at the back door while waiting for them to finish their business. As many of you know, Irene is a psychic, clairvoyant and an outbounder...some would describe her as a preeminent ghost whisperer. Her gifts allow her to detect many levels of paranormal energy…be it human, non-terrestrial, earthbound or otherwise.

As Irene continued to wait for her dogs, she noticed ‘something’ approach her on the walkway from the lower yard. Her description was that of a tall and wide shouldered being but without mass...a pixilated transparent form that continued to move towards her. As this form came near her it abruptly stopped as if it was surprised that Irene was staring at it. Then this form dissipated completely. This was not the first time something of this nature had materialized near Irene. A similar incident transpired the previous year while she was standing adjacent to her garden…this time the being was somewhat smaller in form but similarly pixilated and transparent.

Her sense of these beings was that it was not a haunting or manifestation by a human spirit. In fact she had never recognized similar phenomena previously. Her assessment was that these were entities from beyond our dimension and most likely of alien origin. After I listened to the evidence, already having knowledge of her surroundings, I concurred that her experience was more than a manifesting human energy. Sixty-four years ago, Kenneth Arnold inadvertently launched the modern UFO era with his report of witnessing nine crescent-shaped objects speeding over Mt Rainier. In 1948, the USAF set up Project Sign to evaluate the many flying disc reports that followed in the wake of Arnold's highly publicized sighting.

A few years later, UFO researcher Coral Lorenzen wrote, "Clearly the discs had been involved in a general military reconnaissance of the United States". She added that the UFO entities were obviously engaged in "gathering botanical and geological specimens". Early proponents of similar theories, assuming that UFOs came from within our solar system, suspected that they wished to colonize our planet, or to strip it of its minerals or metals or uranium. These theories are no longer valid. There is a wealth of minerals and metals in asteroids and uninhabited planets which is readily available to any astral civilization. As well, there are a high number of non-inhabited planets that could be adapted to support life should the aliens wish colonize.

Some alien abduction theory proponents have suggested that these non-terrestrials want to gather human DNA in order to develop hybrids. It seems unlikely to expect that highly advanced aliens would need to repeatedly abduct thousands of humans in order to keep their DNA supplies available. Surely they would have the know-how that we possess to synthesize or replicate DNA in their own laboratories?

Is it possible that extraterrestrials are only interested in our culture and relationship to other living things on our planet? Could we become a part of an united interplanetary trading consortium...or simply become a diplomatic and scientific partner in a league of alien civilizations? Cue up the ‘Star Trek’ music...

An interesting comment was made by Lord Martin Rees, a leading cosmologist and astrophysicist who is the President of Britain’s Royal Society and astronomer to the Queen of England. Rees, who hosted the National Science Academy’s first conference on the possibility of alien life in February 2010, said he believes the existence of extraterrestrial life may be beyond human understanding.

“They could be staring us in the face and we just don’t recognize them. The problem is that we’re looking for something very much like us, assuming that they at least have something like the same mathematics and technology. I suspect there could be life and intelligence out there in forms we can’t conceive. Just as a chimpanzee can’t understand quantum theory, it could be there as aspects of reality that are beyond the capacity of our brains.”

Is it possible that these extraterrestrial entities are all around us and, for the most part, undetectable? Computational biologists and bioengineers are attempting in finding the cure for chronic diseases like cancer, diabetes and others. What has perplexed some bioengineers and medical experts is the presence of strange molecular entities within the intracellular structures within an organism. The biological entities are not bacteria, viruses, or any visible entities. They are invisible. They are impossible to detect without the help of computational modeling and computer assisted search and locate algorithms.

The premise is that invisible extraterrestrial biological entities all around us are penetrating our bodies and reside within intracellular spaces. They can then attack as they wish to colonize human or animal bodies. That is the reason why targeted drug delivery mechanisms are failing no matter what the biophysicists are doing. It was found that through computational modeling the source of cancer is not the cancer cell only but also invisible entities within intracellular spaces.

Do these invisible extraterrestrial entities exist in higher dimensions and manifest under certain conditions? Are these beings entering our world by flying craft or through portals…or have they been here with us all along?

Another personal experience that may add substance to this phenomenon is that of Regan Lee, the author of the UFO blog The Orange Orb. She posted an article at the UFO Digest titled The Continuing Saga Of My Invisible Aliens: They’re Listening.

Also, the lack of tangible evidence to prove the existence of several cryptid's may also be due to a theory that has been gaining popularity over recent years, namely, that these beings are ultraterrestrial and multidimensional. *Statement by Irene Block: I have never been one to be in the past anything alien, in fact, although I never dismissed all the claims the very thought of it terrified me and luckily up till about 14 months ago I had been spared anything to do with this subject. Then something strange happened. It was late at night and I was letting my dogs out into the garden for the last time that night before retiring to bed and as I was standing at my back door watching them down at the bottom of the garden a movement on my patio caught my eye. The patio was lit up by the security light that had gone on automatically as the dogs had previously moved through the beam.

Crossing the patio and moving in my direction I saw what I could only describe was an outline of some being, I could see straight through it except for the area of the outline, it was about 5' in height and it was clear to see the head, body and arms and legs, it had a humanoid appearance to it. It legs moved just like ours one step after the other just a bit more awkwardly.

At this point it seemed to show no fear of me and when it got to within about 3 to 4 feet my curiosity went and I became wary of it, my attention on my dogs was lost all I know is that they were still at the bottom of the garden. This thing had now come to close for comfort and I put my hand up to it in the "don't go there" fashion and said in a determined voice "bug off". The next thing that happened shocked me it started to back up, it didn't turn around and it was if it was taking steps backwards all the time facing me and then it disappeared.

I gathered the dogs together quickly and came indoors and locked up the house, I always thought that if something like this were to happen to me I would scarper so fast you wouldn't see me for dust. But for some reason I was not afraid, I had felt no fear from it, I was quite proud of myself even if I had no idea what it was.

It didn't stop here in the last few months I have been witness to quite a few UFOs flying across the valley that I live in and then about 3 weeks ago it happened again but this time it was different.

Again I was letting the dogs out in the garden for their last run of the night but this time I used a different back door, I live in a large detached house in the rural countryside and this house has 2 back doors, only where this one is there is no security light and the light will only go on if anything moves in the vicinity of the other back door which could be seen from where I stood. The only light that was reflecting at his point was the one in the boot room behind me and that was an energy saving bulb that was quite dim.

The dogs ran out of the door and jumped down off the wall that surrounded my large patio and straight down the garden so they did not come within reach of the beam, I watched them for a while running around down at the bottom of the garden then they all ran up the side of the house and disappeared out of site.

Suddenly the security light came on down at the other end of the house but no dog had passed through the beam as I stood there again I could see something moving towards me, and again for some reason I was not afraid just curious. I looked straight at it and when it reached about 3 foot away from me a thought went through my head "what the frigging hell are you" it stopped dead in its tracks and just seemed to freeze.

The appearance of this one was a bit different from the first one I had seen although the same it was transparent, I could see clearly the outline of the head, shoulders and body and the top half of its legs down to just below the knees but nothing from there on maybe that had something to do with the fact that it was not moving. This one was much taller then the first well over 6 foot. The shoulders to me looked broad and muscular it was as if the had a width to them much like American footballers when they are all padded up. The arms were long and seemed to reach down to the area past where the knees were like a primate.

I sensed from it, that it froze as it was more afraid of me then I was of it, a thought went through my head as if it was thinking "oh bug she sees me" to me it was shocked, I know it seems daft but I do feel that there was some sort of ESP going between us and it left me with the feeling that something it wanted me to know was impressed into my subconscious mind although for the life of me I do not know what it was, maybe at this point in time I am not meant to know and it will only emerge when the time is right.

This thing had stood in front of me for what seemed ages but in reality could only have been a few minutes when I had had enough of it I called the dogs who came round from the corner of the house and instead of running across the patio to me just stood there looking in silence as if they could see something that they didn't like they were silent did not even growl or bark just stood there waiting, well I could understand this if it was just one or two dogs but six. This I found strange as my dogs are trained guard dogs and obey my commands to the last letter.

At this point this thing was still in front of me and not moving the thought that went through my head was "I wish you would go" and with that it didn't back up or walk away but just faded away.

Had I seen an extraterrestrial, a time traveller from the future, I know it was not a spirit of any kind, I had no idea what it was except that it was afraid and wary of me also shocked to know that I could see it and that somehow we communicated even if I do not know about what but the most important thing I found out about it that night was that it must have been solid mass because it set off the beam of the security light.

Well that's my experience of these transparent beings and I hope that will be the last. Irene Block

California Man Witnesses Possible Dimensional Portal

The following was posted on the MUFON CMS today. I heard a similar anecdote a few years ago from a man in Pennsylvania. Could this driveway be a alternative universe / dimensional overlap or portal?

MUFON CMS - California: I have know idea who I should tell this story to so I hope you might be interested. I have been interested in U.F.O. stories for years but I must honestly say that I've never seen one. My story may somehow be connected though.

In the fall of 1988 my wife and I purchased our 1st (and only) house in Fresno Ca. Money was tight so we couldn't afford a lot of upgrades for a new house (like a garage door opener). I drove an older 1978 F-250 pickup to work and my wife drove the new 1988 Mustang GT that we bought just before we got the house. Every day when I came home from work I would approach our house from the south (heading north). The house is the last house on the right side corner. My wife's Mustang was always sitting in the driveway when I got home. This irritated me a bit because I wanted our new car to be in the garage. The task of getting out of the car and manually opening the garage door was more than my wife wanted to do, (don't worry we're still happily married). A little over a year later, I was comming home from work and the first thing I noticed was the Mustang was not parked in the driveway, I didn't see it anywhere. I first thought that my wife was somewhere else but when I got my key out to unlock our front door, she greeted me. I immediately thought that she actually put the car in the garage so I walked in the front door, made a hard right and opened the inside garage door to the house to confirm this. The garage was empty! I was shocked and thought the car was stolen so I turned to my wife and asked "Where is the car!" She told me it was in the driveway. I ran back out the front door and the car was in the driveway just like she said. I know this sounds like I was tired and day dreaming but the fact that the car was missing (and I had to walk up the driveway to get to the house) is what caught my attention. Little did I know more events were to come.

A few months later almost the exact same event occurred. I was coming home from work and the Mustang was not in the driveway (by the way I always parked my truck on the street in front of the house). I entered the house a little different this time. I heard my daughter in her room to the left so I went in to say hi. I asked her if her mother had put the car in the garage. She said she didn't think so. I responded by saying "Well it's not in the driveway", We both looked out her front bedroom window towards the driveway (which was clearly visible), And she responded "oh yeah, I don't see it". I walked towards the kitchen and greeted my wife, checked the inside garage door again and asked my wife where the car was. She said it was in the driveway. I walked out the front door and lo and behold, the car was in the driveway, (but this time I had a witness).

These two events are the only events I personally experienced but two more events took place with a friend from work and my wife and daughter.

I sold my 1978 truck and bought a 1991 F-150 truck. This truck was the vanishing vehicle in the next two episodes.

About 4 or 5 years later we finally had a garage door opener. No more problem parking the Mustang in the garage but my new truck was a super cab model and was too big to fit in the garage. This truck was always parked in the driveway. I car pooled with a friend from work so he met me at my house every morning. One morning he didn't show up so I went on to work (driving my truck that was parked in the driveway). I met my friend at work and he asked me where I was that morning. I told him I was there waiting and left at the usual time. He then told me he drove past our house in one direction and didn't see my truck so he circled back, looked again and my truck was gone. (my friend was very prompt and always 10-15 min. early). I told him the unbelievable stories about the Mustang disappearances and he was convinced that something strange was going on.

The last story happened when I was home, my truck in the driveway, and I was sitting in the front room watching tv. My wife and daughter were out in the Mustang. When they came home, it was dark outside but they both could see me as they approched the house, through the front window watching tv. My wife asked me later on (maybe an hour after they got home), how I got home? I said I drove my truck, why? She said they didn't see it in the driveway and since they could both see me watching tv through the front window of the house, they wondered how I got there. Naturally I ran out to check the truck and you guessed it, it was parked in the driveway where I left it. I also checked the garage and the Mustang was parked there also. My wife had to drive by the truck in the driveway to get the car in the garage (we're talking 18-24 inches).

I asked my daughter if she saw my truck when they came home and she confirmed that it wasn't there.

I still own both the 1988 Mustang and the 1991 F-150 truck. They have never disappeared since. I know this is a crazy story but the only common factor is the location where everything took place (the driveway). I'm just glad it didn't swallow me up. If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them.
