Would You Give A Child This Book?

I have a story to tell and I would like some input by the readers. I know what the majority of the answers are going to be but I have my reasons for asking the question.

Would you give a young teenager a book about psychic vampires? The specific book is detailed at The Vampire Codex...this is an internet version of the book supplied by the author. Should a child be given this information?

Several months ago, Spirit Rescue International was asked to investigate, research and remote view a residence in Connecticut. The client was a ghost hunter who had gotten a bit reckless and didn't protect herself....thus attracting a multitude of entities into the home that caused various problems. The client was also obsessed with EVP recordings and constantly setup a recorder in the residence. It had gotten to the point that we were called in to clear the location. Unfortunately the client refused to stop looking for ghosts and continued to re-infest the home. There were many other factors involved as well...but the bottom line is that the client simply refused to help herself.

During the investigation we were told that the young teenage girl living in the home had become interested in the client's ghost hunting activities and that the client purchased The Vampire Codex for the teen. Frankly, we were shocked and considered dropping the investigation...but are committed to help those who are truly in need. Eventually the client was requiring constant attention and interfering with other cases we were working. She could not understand why new spirits were moving into the location as well as attaching to her. Out of frustration the client lashed out and blamed us for her predicament.

As serious investigators we expect some people and clients will not understand what we do. This is not television...it's real-life and we solve real entity hauntings and possessions. It's not about money or glory...it's about helping. Some times it's a humbling endeavor...but most times it is very satisfying, even though we may not get a simple 'thank you'.

Please go to the book link, read the information and comment on this. Thanks...Lon
